Centra Integration

Centra is an advanced e-commerce platform for consumer brands, with features for both direct-to-consumer and wholesale commerce.

FocalPay is also an e-commerce platform, but its main goal is managing physical stores. FocalPay started integrating with other platforms so users could combine FocalPay's services with their existing web-based solutions.

The idea behind the project I developed was to create a service that makes it easy and safe for other e-commerce platforms to connect to FocalPay, and vice versa. I designed the backend integration around explicit API boundaries, implemented the synchronisation workflows and operational data mapping, and kept the integration isolated so FocalPay's own services could evolve independently.
