Details
ChainSync is a logistics API platform for businesses that run their own deliveries. A client sends its packages in a single request, and the platform assigns couriers and routes with one of five optimisation strategies (fewest carriers, shortest time, shortest distance, lowest cost, or automatic) across one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-one and many-to-many delivery patterns.
I have built it alone, end to end, over more than 400 commits: a NestJS 11 API with 30 modules and about 230 endpoints, and an Angular 19 operations console with more than 80 pages, localised into English, Persian, Arabic and French. It covers courier and delivery tracking, proof of delivery, route planning, package packing, billing, alerts and an analytics dashboard with live maps and heatmaps.
The decisions I care most about: separate PostgreSQL databases for core data and notifications, each with its own Prisma schema. A single global guard that accepts either a JWT or an API key and scopes every request to a tenant. A Redis-backed notification worker. Demand scoring on the H3 hexagonal grid. And an AI assistant that can only act through a registry of vetted tools. It is a feature-rich MVP today, with security hardening under way before a public launch.
