Details
The project is developed to monitor and control power systems, and I held the role of technical manager on it - while still programming, of course. It is a large-scale project consisting of five different servers.
Some servers are developed on Node.js, and those requiring complex calculations are developed on .NET. The project faces complications such as a high data rate, a need for short response times, a large amount of data that must be stored on the database server, and event management.
To optimise database performance we used the Apache Ignite in-memory database for real-time data, Microsoft SQL Server as the primary relational database, and MongoDB for archive storage. React was used for the front end.
